Cracking the Case: A Day with a Big Green Safe
Today’s main job involved opening a big green beast of a safe. Another technician had previously attempted the task, but unfortunately, they didn’t succeed and even cut the digital keypad off for reasons unknown.
When I arrived, the lock had completely failed. Whether this was the original problem or caused by cutting the keypad to a live lock, we’ll never know. It was a mystery worthy of a detective novel.
After a few hours of drilling and another hour spent repairing the safe, the customer was back in business. All in a day’s work, right?
And just like that, another tough job was tackled with a bit of grit and a lot of Aussie determination.
